Miami's Bryan Garcia was named the 2016 Stopper of the Year by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association on Saturday at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, becoming the first Hurricane hurler to receive the award.

Five of college baseball's top relief specialists have been selected as finalists for the 12th annual National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year Award as announced by the NCBWA on Wednesday.
