USC-Upstate's Rinehart, Arkansas' Smith are Dick Howser Trophy National Players of the Week
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its Dick Howser Trophy National Player of the Week awards presented by The Game Headwear for the period ending Feb. 25. USC Upstate junior outfielder Jace Rinehart was named National Hitter of the Week, while Arkansas junior left-handed pitcher Hagen Smith was named National Pitcher of the Week.
NCBWA announces 2022 Freshman All-America Team
A total of 34 standout freshmen college baseball players from every part of the country are featured on the 2022 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Freshman All-America Team, the organization announced today. The 2022 NCBWA Freshman All-America Team features players from 29 different schools and 13 different conferences.
