For their performances from the season's opening through Sunday, Nov. 9, the first five Ann Meyers Drysdale national women’s honorees are Fairfield roadrunner Meghan Andersen; Iowa State center Audi Crooks; Florida guard Liv McGill; Baylor guard Taliah Scott; and Princeton guard Fatima Tall. The first Tamika Catchings Freshman of the Week goes to USC guard Jazzy Davidson, and the Team of the Week is reigning NCAA champion UConn.

Fifty standout returning players have been named to the preseason watch list for the 2025-26 Oscar Robertson Trophy by the board of the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.

Twenty-five standout first-year players have been named to the preseason watch list for the 2025-26 Wayman Tisdale Award by the board of the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.

The Southeastern Conference boasts four standout players to headline the 2024-25 U.S. Basketball Writers Association Men's All-America Team, including three first-team selections. All four NCAA Tournament No. 1 seeds are represented on the team, which includes three repeat selections among the 17 players honored on three teams, with two players receiving honorable mention.

Many familiar faces are featured on the 2024-25 U.S. Basketball Writers Association's Women's All-America Team, with 11 of 15 players on the three teams having earned previous All-America honors from the USBWA.

For the season's eighth honorees for games ending Sunday, Jan. 23, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Ann Meyers Drysdale Women's National Player of the Week goes to Kansas State center Ayoka Lee, the organization's Tamika Catchings women's freshman player honor goes to Florida guard Alberte Rimdal, and the USBWA women's national team citation goes to Ole Miss.
